This is an exciting stage to reach for every software project. We agree on what the software will cost and what it can do, and we lay out a timeline of when it will go into production for you.
What does the quote cover?
Our quote covers a fixed price tag for the software specification agreed on during the requirement analysis process. It may also include recurrent cost for license and application hosting. We usually provide two different models;
- Fixed price & Fixed Features
With this price model we agree on a whole feature set, cost and timeline. We as a provider take full risk of delivering the agreed features for the fixed price tag. This price model allows you only minimal adjustments of the feature catalogue while executing the project. Major changes on the feature catalogue led to extra cost.
- Fixed price & Variable Features
This price model classifies features with priorities and identifies the must-to-have features. We execute the project on a fixed cost and implement features in order of priority. This model allows you to adjust the requirement catalogue when needed during the project timeline. We stop when the agreed cost threshold is reached. This model has the advantage of sharper prices, faster delivery, and more flexibility to feature adjustments, but has the disadvantage that we might have to drop some low priority non-essential features to reach cost goals.
What are the contracts cover?
We provide a contract prospect specialized for Custom Software projects to cover both our interests and aims. We do our best to satisfy your lawyer but are also open-minded if you consider some amendments to the contracts.
